Requirements

— 1+ years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer on commercial projects;

— experience with Docker, Kubernetes

— experience in building CI/CD processes (Jenkins, Git, Gitlab)

— scripting skills with either of Bash, Python

— strong knowledge of Linux (Debian, Ubuntu), OSI model, load balancing

— AWS Production experience 

— Strong knowledge of Linux systems. We do not work with Windows.

— Basic knowledge of OSI model, principles of routing and switching, stack of TCP / IP protocols, dynamic routing protocols;

— Experience in setting up and tuning databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ELK stack

Plus:

— Experience with Infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)

 

Responsibilities

— Collaboration with developers

— CI/CD process improvement & and setup from scratch 

— Security and performance hardening (including preparation PCI DSS/HIPPA certification);

— Participation in monitoring development and troubleshooting.

— Participate in building automation flows

— Participate in developing continuous release and deployment automation flows

— Maintain infrastructures and environments of all types from dev to production
